Largest Assignment Fee You Ever Had

Hi BP,

I'm just wondering other wholesaler's experiences when it comes to larger assignment fees. WHAT WAS YOUR LARGEST ASSIGNMENT FEE? What area was it in? Understandably these deals are not common, but when they come along I'm sure they are great. No I have not had a large one yet but its coming and I can feel it :)

Wholesaling (atleast to me) is not so much a "Get Rich Quick" strategy, but a way to build a business that can fund other ventures. I believe strongly that as long as the deal makes sense for End Buyer, you can put whatever assignment fee you want on there. If you don't want it to be known, just do a double closing. That being said, if I found a deal where I could squeeze $100k in, I would. At the same time, if I have a seller sending me 5 page letters that they need to avoid foreclosure to save their family (and I have), then I will help them as much as I can even if my assignment fee is $500.

This post is not so much for advice on large deals or finding them. Instead I'm just wondering what your larger assignment fees have been and any information you wish to share.

I feel this would be extremely motivational for newer guys (including myself since I just started this year). Thanks all!
