Prospect wholesaler needing some advice

Account Closed
Posted

I'm a prospect wholesaler from westchester NY. As i was D4D i came across a few properties that were basically abandoned and one of them was deemed unsafe by the town. I looked up the property that was deemed unsafe by the town on batchleads and didnt see that much information on it. when it is like "condemned" by the town, who would i contact to find out more information about that house the town or try to contact the owner (who i think might have passed away)? Thanks.

Hello @Account Closed

I agree to what @Jake Wiley said, I would contact the city/town whom condemned the house. There's likely a write-up on why it was done. Then I would advise getting an Architect (or Engineer) to review the write-up and advise on how to properly satisfy the City/Town and remove the condemned status. It's usually document heavy and you'll need a RA/PE to sign off on it being safe to occupy. You won't be able to sell or reside in it until this is done.
