Is Direct Mail the best strategy to produce rapid volume in a short period of time?

Good afternoon BP family, I was doing so research on marketing strategies for wholesaling this morning. I stumbled across a presentation that basically said, direct mail is the best strategy to produce rapid volume in short period of time. What do you guys think?
