How Real Estate investing changed my family's life in 1 Year.

I just wanted to thank the many awesome members of BP, and share a success story that may brighten some of your days. As some of you know I was interviewed by Rod Khlief multifamily podcast on episode #221 just a few weeks ago. Our team has since added some more units under contract and we went ahead used some advice given to me of using "other people's money" in a partnership with some investors to acquire an 8 unit building. We are up to 58 cash-flowing units in 1 year. Our team is just Rocking and Rolling. This website and the helpful members here have just been AWESOME!! Special thanks to @Brandon Turner book on Rental Property Investing.

But my Big Success Story is a personal Story. Since I started this business with my partners 1 year ago, we haven't taken any money out of this business. Well starting in June, we are doing a monthly draw. This has allowed my very large family to move from our crowded 1800 sq ft home and purchase a beautiful 3400 sq ft home with 6 acres and a pond/indoor pool outside of town!! We have some flooring to redo inside, and a few other minor repairs. But in June, we will have a new home paid for with cash-flow from our Real Estate business.

I just wanted to let everyone know that this business is real and you CAN do this!! In one year we have changed the immediate lives of our family, and drastically changed our future!! TAKE MASSIVE ACTION!! I hope I could inspire some of you!!

    Hi @Miles Presha,

I live in San Diego and at the moment have 122 front doors in NE Ohio.  I started by buying single family condos in San Diego with 20-35% down on each in 2011, 2012, and 2013 when you could buy a 2br 1ba for anywhere from $90,000-$125,000 and you could buy 3br 2ba for $125,000-$150,000.  Now I have traded all those condos in that doubled and 1031 exchanged them in for apartment complexes in NE Ohio.  My cash flow went from $50,000 per year in San Diego to the current $160,000 cash flow.  Buy low and sell high.  That's the ticket.  Now when I was buying those 10 condos in San Diego, people said I was crazy and then when I sold them in 2015, 2016, and 2017 to trade them in for apartment complexes people said I was crazy again.  I am crazy all the way to the bank with cash flow and tremendous net worth after only 7 years of investing.

You need to talk to investors that have already been there and done that  and get their residential agent and their little Property Manager and start to develop your team in an emerging market in America.  That's how I did it.  I talked to investors and then I followed their lead.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change right before your eyes!!
