NC LLCs & anonymity

Hi y'all- I'm getting my legal structures & privacy in place and own an STR in NC. The LLC would be owned by an anonymous LLC in another state. It looks like no matter what, my actual name will need to be filed on annual report with the NC LLC (even using a registered agent). Has anyone found a workaround to that?

 There really is no such thing as anonymity anymore, especially in real estate unless you have 8 or 9 figures to work with. Besides having your name on the annual report, if you are seeking financing on the property, your name is going to be on the mortgage/deed of trust. 

Creating these complex structures from what I have experienced only costs me time and money and potential issues down the line to make sure documents are signed by the correct people and entities etc. Your accountants will love you and hate you as they love you because they will charge you a fortune but despise you when you do not put money in and out properly.
