Rules regarding Damage Deposits being put into a CD for some decent interest

Any suggestions on how to legally put Damage Deposits into a CD to gain interest? We have an LLC that is registered through a third party designee. The bank says we need to provide that person's permission to open up a CD in the name of the LLC. How do any of you handle your damage deposits?
