Overcharged late fees and retroactive adjustments that are not true
The AppFolio app that is used to manage the rental property has overcharged beyond the legal 12%many times and the bookkeeping for historical payments from tenants has been doctored to correct these mistakes by the online algorithm!
Is this a potential problem or is this easily corrected?
I want to clarify this for you and just ask what is the possibilities of a law suit being brought about from the changed payment records of monies paid and fees assed after the fact of actual payments and late fees.???
Tenant has stated that they can prove allegations and that they wish to get paid back!
How much is the management company facing as to what is being threatened in suit of overcharging late fees and changing figures in accounting ?
