Section 8 purchase for family
I’m wondering if it’s possible to purchase a property to be used for Section 8 housing to allow a family member who is qualified for Section 8 to be the tenant. Or would that be discriminatory conduct because the property would then be approved by the PHA and open to the pool of qualified tenants?

Good question, as far as I'm concerned, you can rent out to whoever you want.
However, I'm not familiar with Washington state laws.
But the PHA would definitely know the answer to this! Just good luck getting in touch with them...
