CPA or real state attorney?

Just bought a second property that I'm making my primary and renting out my first property.

Wanted to speak to a real estate attorney or/and cpa of how I should set everything up?

I listened to a recent podcast where setting up a llc just protects you from a legal perspective but not from tax write offs if you work a w2?
