Seasonality and lead times

I am fairly new to MTR and was curious what vacancy and lead times tend to look like around this time of year? I have a condo that will be available in early November. I have been using only Furnished Finder for my first couple of renters. I am now starting to market on Zillow as well. I get a bit antsy considering the upcoming holidays and what demand looks like. Also, do you tend to give lower rental rates in the winter months?

My unit is in San Jose, so bonus points for those in the Bay Area! Thanks in advance for any wisdom and guidance you can provide!

Furnished Finder is great but I would make sure you are creating an integrated calender amongst newer sites that you add on. Here are the top ones: Airbnb, VBRO, Booking.com, and Direct Booking on a property website.

It will be a bit slower this season depending on you exact market but you need to try your best and put it up on every site that you can and make a majority of your money during the warmer times.
