Security/video doorbell at MTR & STR

We are about to close on our first rental property that we are looking to MTR and curious to know what everyone else does about security, video doorbells, etc. for their properties.

Specifically, when it comes to having a medium term renter, do you give them access to the doorbell, etc. and then just change the password after each guest?

And any other helpful tips would be greatly appreciated
thanks!

I have two MTR and I share the access to the Ring doorbell. That gives the tenants peace of mind. You can always unshare access and it keeps them accountable.
