Still Seeking !!

Hello! active military member here. I'm currently seeking a Duplex to House Hack (using the VA LOAN/ credit approved for 300k/ 30/YR Fixed Loan) (live in one unit/Rent the other out). But it seems I haven't had any luck finding the perfect home. I'm currently deployed and will be returning April 18th. so After some time of being in port I will be relocating within the Newport News area so I decided to expand my search within Virginia. (Hampton, Yorktown, poquoson, Williamsburg, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and other parts like Fort Euis, Sandford/riverview, hidden wood, Nelson/Beachwood & Bodily Hills). I haven't had any luck with any properties pop up within those areas within my MLS. (I'm currently working with an agent). What can I do to, I guess do a "deeper" search of available properties? should I just continue waiting or is there other platforms I could utilize also?
