Renting out a den
Hey y'all!
I'm currently house hacking in Woodbridge, but I'm looking into moving out soon so I can cash flow on this property. I live in the basement with a den (due to not having windows; decent size bedroom) and a full bath. It's essentially a studio/apt since it has a washer/dryer (shared with other tenants), living room space, and a separate entrance in the basement. I'm planning on either posting it on Furnished Finder as a MTR or find a long-term tenant.
I can't seem to find a definite answer on this - What are the rules in renting out a den in Virginia, specifically in Prince William County?
Thank you for any feedback/resource.
