Land hacking anyone?

Hey all -

Trying to think through some innovative ways to get started on the REI journey. We live on an 8 acre plot of land about an hour NW of Fort Worth. We've got a good sized shop building for starters. Also have a decent view from the back of the property. Some options I've been considering:

- Finish out the shop and rent it out barndominium style

- Build a tiny home or get a camper to AirBNB on the corner of the property where there's a view

That said, I'm wondering if we are just too far off the beaten path for either of these to be effective.

Curious if anyone has any experience and/or thoughts on this?

Thanks

Matt
