Hi BP, my name is Justin! I'm a construction cost estimator building my real estate network, and want to offer my experience to the BP forums.

I've spent 3 years in residential estimating and 5 years in commercial estimating. I've been a field superintendent at GCs, and now I work on the product/data team of a construction cost data company. I also have experience drafting construction drawings. I'm also studying data science to tie it together!

This isn't a pitch for services. I just want to offer what estimating skills I have, since BP has helped educate me. Rehab costs are hard. I can help you ballpark your ground up builds or renovations, or ad hoc questions like "What does tile/flooring/painting cost in $/SF?". I've helped manage 100s of estimates for residential contractors, producing nearly 100 myself.

Disclaimers: I'm not currently a contractor, nor appraiser, nor licensed. But I have experience, seen 100s of bids, and I'm happy to share it. Feel free to DM me or tag me.

As far as what I'm looking for, I'm still a rookie, but intrigued in house hacks in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bonuses are: near running trails, RV parking, high room count. Fixers welcome!
