Married - Outstanding FHA loan, New FHA loan for House Hacking
Hello,
My husband is interested in buying his first home. I purchased my first home (single-family) with an fha loan when we were recently married. However, I purchased it without my husband as a co-buyer - his income was not considered and his credit was not used. The mortgage and deed are only under my name. Is my husband able to qualify for an fha loan to purchase a multi-family without my income/credit?
We are thinking of placing the single family home for rent and house hacking a multi-family property.
Any insights would be helpfully. Thanks.
