House Hacking with a Pet Challenges

Brennan Ste
Posted

I am looking to start my RE journey with a house hack, buying a place and short term renting out the other bedroom. One thing I am worried about is that I have a cat and I don't how that would affect my house hacking ability. There is only one entrance, so it's not like I can split the place up and have no contact with the short term tenet. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this or horror stories that I should be aware of to try to avoid?
