Opportunity for Underwater ARM Loans Hitting Reset Period
With current rates around 7%,
shouldn't there be an opportunity to purchase properties that were bought with adjustable-Rate Mortgages (ARMs) at 3% in past 5-10 years that are hitting their reset period this year 2024 or in 2025?
at 3% those properties were cash flowing, but 7% puts them underwater.
How would you go about finding properties that meet the above criteria? (those that are about to reset)
I'm a new real estate investor, doing research, looking for opportunities. Thanks!
