Investment property purchases vs. owner occupied

I heard an interesting statistic earlier.   Supposedly, in the ABQ area, 1 in 5 purchases right now are Investment purchases.  While I need to verify this, I found it very interesting and am curious about what others are seeing, both in the ABQ area as well as nationwide?
