Potential seller calls back

Lawrence Croom
Posted

Good afternoon,

I was wondering what are some ways or ideas to use when a prospective seller calls back that will help me know what his/her property address is without me having to call them back or put them on hold to look up said information. Thanks in advance!

I never make an assumption about it. Sometimes it comes from someone who was given your number, sometimes it's someone from a phone other than their cell, sometimes it's someone who saw your ad or bandit sign.

I just say, "nice to hear from you, can you give me the address we're going to discuss so I can be sure I have the right one?" If they won't tell you the address, just ask them what you can do for them. They may be calling to tell you off, tell you to f* off, or to just take them off the list.

Don't assume every caller is happy to talk to you. Act like they are, believe that they are, but be prepared that they may not be and are calling to get you to stop bugging them. But, always be polite.
Great info…Really appreciate it
