Hi Savvy investors,

I am reaching out to connect with anyone who has made investments in the Detroit area of Michigan. I am currently interested in investing in single-family homes for long-term rentals and would love to hear about your experiences and any advice you may have.

I have put together a map indicating neighborhoods as Great (green), Okay (yellow), and Bad (red) based on my research so far. What do you think of these neighborhoods? Do you have any additional insights to share?

Roy, I am the resident Detroit expert.

I lived in Troy, MI (Metro area) from 2017-2022, having moved from San Francisco. My goal was to buy up enough rentals and then move back to CA. We did that in August and are now extremely happy here on the Central Coast.
