Wage & Population Growth In States & Cities

I am curious if anyone knows of a good site that shows progressive data for wage growth and population growth in every state & cities if applicable.

i would either ( 1 ) pick a market you can drive to, so you can set up your core 4 in person, see properties in person, go to REIA meetings in person, net work in person, etc., OR ( 2 ) pick a market you have a personal connection to or personal knowledge of, i.e. went to school there, have family in, want to live in eventually, etc.
a lot of new investors try to pick the "best" market using data, and i think you have a stronger chance of success doing it differently.
