Finding Data on Rents, number of Rental Units, etc

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the BiggerPockets community and just beginning to look into investing in rental properties. I'm trying to find data sources to get information on local rent values per bedroom/square foot, number of rental properties currently available, population demographics showing how many people in a given area rent vs. buy, etc. Does anyone know of any good resources to find this type of information?
