Maybe best time to invest for the next decade?

Been thinking a lot about interest rates and the future.

The average rate since 1971 is 7.76%

We may not be as excited about 5-6% interest rates, but almost every other era would be excited about the opportunity.

We are seeing new home starts slow nationwide (300k less per month than this spring), and we still have a housing deficit across the board.

I think we will see some softening in home prices but the demand is still high and rates are still low. In many ways this is a perfect storm of opportunity where cash is still available. Prices are unlikely to plummet and rates are historically below average.

Where do you see investment opportunities from a historic perspective?
