Your take on renting to Section 8
I am a newer landlord and have a vacancy I’m working on getting filled. I have had multiple section 8 renters contact me. I’ve never dealt with section 8. What is your take on pros vs cons and if it’s worth it?

I've never done it. Don't want the problems associated with it, nor frankly do I want lower income people to deal with. Not my thing.
Remember that the total rent is NOT guaranteed to you...it is only the portion that the Govt pays that is guaranteed. So if your Sect 8 tenant is responsible for 50% of the rent and they can't/won't pay, you are screwed.....
