I am wondering about those "bird dog" companies that I see posting on several sites. They say they will pay $5 - $40 for every house I find which is vacant, but doesn't have any signs, i.e. FS or FSBO, etc. Do you know if they are legit? Also, my husband does handyman type home repairs, etc, and today he received a call from a gentleman that said he will pay $500 per FSBO house that we give him info on, if he ends up purchasing the house. I have been laid off for almost a year, and the income for me would be a god send, but I don't have the time or money to pursue this if it's a scam.
