I am looking to buy a rental in Memphis TN i am looking into working with Derrick Craig with memphisbuyandhold.com has anybody worked with him any feed back would be great has anybody bought any rentals from him Thank you

Derrick has been amazing to work with.  After firing two property managers in two years after two separate eviction proceedings, I wanted nothing more than to wash my hands of my Memphis investment all together.  I called Derrick on a Friday asking him whether I should try to sell my property or tough it out.  By Sunday, he had been to the property, shot video of its condition, and gave me his expert opinion to keep the property as a rental.  He provided me with a rent-ready estimate that was about 50% lower than that provided by my previous property manager.  Last, but certainly not least, he had found a tenant for my property THE NEXT FRIDAY.  One week after my original phone call to him for help.  Amazing.  Since then, I haven't had any problems with this property and I'm hoping to save up enough to buy from him again soon.  A+++ recommendation.

Derrick has been my property manager for a property I have in Memphis for the past 3 years. He is very professional and always gets the job done right the first time. He is always quick to tell me of tenant complaints and has a crew ready to fix issues that have arisen at my location. He is a prompt collector of rents and pays me thru paypal the same day rent is collected. I have never bought a property from him but I can tell you his work is top notch and far exceeds some other rehabbers in the area. Lastly, Derrick is willing to manage in parts of Memphis that other PM's consider not so safe. Most make this assumption based on zip code and out dated crime stats found online. Memphis is one of those cities where you must takes things street by street and not make a generalization about an entire area. Derrick, being a Memphis native, has that experience and expertise. I highly recommend him.

I bought two properties from Derrick a year ago, and he has managed them ever since.  Everything has gone smoothly.  Derrick always answers my emails promptly and keeps me updated regarding vacancies and needed repairs.  I was somewhat nervous about investing out of state, but working with Derrick in Memphis has turned out to be a wise investment.
