Exodus Title Company

We are going to purchase our first rental property in Houston area. We got this deal from a whole seller. At first he chose Texas American Title Comp any. But they refused to issue title insurance as the current owner does not have it. Then he moved to Exodus Title Company. They will issue title insurance.

We don't have any experience to close a property. Is it ok if Exodus issues title insurance? Are we safe? Any answer will be appreciated.
