Is anyone a member of the Washington D.C. chapter of NREIA - I believe it's called Traction REIA - and is willing to give their thoughts on it? I found the website for it, and it looks pretty good, but I'd like to get feedback from people who may have already tried it out.

Traction has a lot of people attend but the monthly events are huge sales pitches. It's always about buying a program or seminar with the hosts and/or speakers.

Check out the CAZA Investor Network Group meetings. They have several different locations that meet monthly. No sales pitches there.

Also check out Capital REI that meets near George Mason University in Fairfax. No sales pitches there, either.
