First Time Preapproval

Hello BP! I’m looking to get preapproved before starting my investing journey. I’ve secured about 50k via private money, which should cover a down payment for a single/multi family in my area (SW Florida).

Only problem is, I don’t have 2 years worth of tax returns that prove I’m a salaried employee (I graduated college a few weeks ago and started my job last Monday). Nor can I provide the last 2 months of my 401(k) or the most recent 30 days of paystubs. I haven’t even received my first paycheck!

Have any other investors ran into this problem early into their careers? I’d like to hit the ground running and not have to wait a few months (or even 2 years) to provide the proper documentation. Could my parents possibly co-sign? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you all in advance!!

Carlos, I may be able to help you out with this. I'm aware of a local lender that has a portfolio product that does not require income verification. Shoot me a dm if you'd like more information.
