Northern Virginia Fixer uppers
Hi BP,
I am looking for a fixer upper in NOVA area. Herndon, Chantilly suburbs. Primary interest would be Townhouse or Single family. Is that a hard find in this location? Are there any RE agents that can help me find few Properties? Willing to meet anyone who can provide more insights about this area RE. thanks in advance.

Welcome to BP @Raghu Kanakamedala!
As others mentioned, the market is HOT, but it doesn't mean that there aren't deals out there. You won't probably find a deal screaming at you on the MLS, you need to make a deal happen. I am a local investor and an agent who works with investors. We look for properties where you can easily add a bedroom and/or bathroom, unfinished basements offer true potential, MLS mistakes (i.e. listed sq.ft. is a lot less than real sq.ft. Listings usually don't include the basement sq.ft. and this can be huge in ~1.000 sq.ft. ramblers), etc.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
