First time buying a home
Hello,
I am in process of putting an offer on my first home.
the offer says I have 5 days to notify seller upon the acceptance of the contract, if there are any findings that will make me back out.
Does that mean I need to get an inspector in the next 5 days if seller accepts my offer?
Do you advise getting a lawyer before submitting an offer?
in “as is” if you back out due to finding in inspection will I lose my earnest money?
when should I have an attorney in the process?
I have work all week. Is it alright if I don’t attend inspection? Or can I ask an extension for 5 days to 10 days?
