Out of State Investing

Sarah Lev
Posted

Hi all!

I am looking to purchase my first property, and being that I live in Brooklyn, I am considering investing out of state. I am not sure how to go about building a team, and I have heard of Rent to Retirement on BiggerPockets podcast. This seemed like exactly what I was looking for. Being that is seems so easy, it is making me skeptical. I have seen other discussions on this, but I wanted to know if anyone personally invested with them and what their experience was like.

Thank you for your time!

Rent to Retirement is what is known as a turnkey real estate provider. If that's the strategy you're considering pursuing, the next step is to research how to evaluate turnkey providers and their properties. There are a few solid guides on YouTube which can give you a good base. There are a number of turnkey providers out there.

The key, as with any kind of real estate, is to remain persistent and patient.
