First time home buyers incentive for rental property?
Hello, all. I am brand new to this forum and this industry. I currently don't own any real estate. I am wondering, does the Canadian government's first time home buyer incentive still apply if you intend to rent the property from day one? My assumption is that you cannot, but I wanted to confirm. Do you think that I could still get the incentive if I did a house hack? If it matters, I'm interested in the Fraser Valley and Penticton markets. Looking forward to your thoughts, and thank you in advance!
