Inside info at brokerages

Back in April, we went into contract on a Coldwell Banker property but ended up canceling on the contract. Recently, we put an offer for another property in a neighboring city that’s listed by Coldwell Banker as well. At the end, they said three top offers were the same but they went with someone else citing they had stronger financials despite everyone doing financing.

One thing was weird is that they said our pre-approval expired in July. We sent them the newest pre-approval which expires in November with the latest offer. So, the only place the agent could have gotten the old pre-approval was from the previous contract back in April.

Is it possible the failed contract back in April got me blacklisted in the realtor’s side so that we won’t have a fair shot at similar listings down the line?
