Trying to secure my first deal
Hello BP! I'm a new investor and have been looking for a multifamily home which i could use an FHA and cashflow the first year. In my market in south jersey its tough to find a duplex that will do just that. I've found a Triplex just posted on the market for 150k in a rural area, with fairly low taxes for NJ. This property will cashflow about $375 the first year, as i'd be staying in one of the units, and cash flow around 1,100-1,200$ the following years. This is with all expenses, vacancy, sewer, insurance, etc.. With me being a first time real estate investor, is there anything to look out for that could surprise me? Inspections, leases, or liens? I dont know everything obviously, and am just trying to make sure I'm making the right moves. Any and all help is appreciated, Thanks BP!
