Purchasing a property remote that has to be fixed up

Hey I am looking to make my first purchase on a property in Philly, its set up as a duplex but can be converted to a triplex ( approved zoning for 3 units), and this property does need some renovations too. Do you think that it's possible to do an investment like this fully remote?

I completed two flips, there is no way I would have done my first remotely.

There are too many moving pieces, you need to know contractors, make sure communication is efficient, make sure the materials is needed are in store, make sure no one is over charging you.. just to name a few.

Get a flight, see it in person, interview contractors and see if everything is feasible.

No matter how easy it might seem to do a flip the reality is a lot different.
