Multi-family purchase (First time purchase)
Hi everyone,
I'll preface this post by saying that I am incredibly new to the real estate market. I have been following BP for quite some time and reading posts and trying to learn the lingo, but I have not yet made a move and I'm hoping that will change soon.
So, I am looking at a multifamily home in British Columbia. I currently do not have a real estate agent that I am working with but I have sent a few emails back and forth to the seller. Basically, I'm wondering if I should be finding an agent for my first purchase or if it is easy to work through everything on your own? I don't really know who to connect with or who to talk to because I am so new.
I'm trying to run the numbers right now and I think they make sense but maybe it's better if I get someone with more knowledge to look at this property to help me with things that I may have missed.
I would love to connect with people on here to learn more and maybe pick your brain about my many different questions.
Thanks BP community :)
Alex
