Investing in the Barrie area - looking to build relationships

Hi all,

I am looking to establish some contacts that specialize in investment properties in the Barrie and surrounding area.  Would love to connect with investors who are experienced in the area and get recommendations/referrals for local agents and contractors.  I will be investing in multi-unit residential properties, ideally in the 2 to 15 unit range.  The properties can be established multi-family units or requiring conversion. 

To provide a quick background...I have been investing in multi-unit residential real estate in Toronto since 2001.  This has include purchasing and selling various properties ranging from duplexes to a 16 unit apartment.  I am looking to transition some of my portfolio to the Barrie area for various reasons.  To that end I recently sold a 13 unit property and I'm looking to re-invest and expand in the Barrie area.  

Looking forward to connecting with anyone who has a strong understanding of the Barrie market and can recommend income property focussed realtors and contractors.  I am looking to build long term, mutually beneficial relationships.
