Hello BP community,

I have recently started looking into Lindsay, Ontario market. Peterborough area seems to have done well the last few years, and Lindsay is only a 30 minute commute to Peterborough.

If anyone is familiar with the area, or can suggest a thread on BP discussing the area, that would be a big help.

Preferred strategy is simply buy & hold, so looking for cashflow positive SF homes.

Thanks everyone.

@Salvatore Giancola I actually live in Lindsay. The market has already almost doubled in the last ten years. Currently the market is still very hot. Personally i feel that the market should continue to go up. With the extension of the 407 it is now possible to get to most of the GTA within an hour. I don’t know what kind of deals you will be able to find as I don’t invest in the market but appreciation should be steady. If you have other questions I can do my best to find them out for you.
