Ontario Rent Increase Freeze for 2021

So... the government of Ontario has just put a moratorium on rent increases for 2021 (overturning the paltry 1.5% increase previously set). Property values can increase, expenses (including property taxes) can increase, but rents remain fixed. This effectively forces landlords to subsidize housing.  Here are the details  https://news.ontario.ca/en/rel...

Frustrated? Write to your MLA or to Steve Clark (Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing).

I agree with you @Chris Baxter.  This is not a Landlord friendly province.  The government here seems to feel that landlords should take on the costs to help out tenants.  I will write to Steve Clark.
