First time Investor, Oshawa, On area?

Hey all!

My partner and I have been doing research on realstate for about a year now. We saved a considerable amount and are planning investing on rental properties in Eastern Ontario.

Our plan is to use the Brrrr and then househack strategy after since itll be our first investment. However we're still looking for the Right property to rehab that fits our budget.

Also, if there are meetup groups around the GTA I would love to be part of and join! I want to share some ideas and listen to what your perspectives are! And if not, I can help organize some by looking at some venues if people are interested!
