How do you find the property owner?
Is there a smarter and less expensive way of finding the current owner of a property aside from paying $50 for a land title search?
In the US, this info seems to be free and abundant but in Canada finding owner info seems much harder to come by.
I'm curious if anyone has come up with smarter strategies to get owner info for specific properties they're interested in.

Realtors have access to a site in Ontario called Geowarehouse.ca.
We are allowed 1,000 searches per year as part of our monthly fees.
So ask your favourite Realtor to help you out in your area.
