Sales/Comparable Data in B.C. Canada

Hello all,

I am new to the world of real estate investing and looking to get into flipping/rehabbing in my local market (Cranbrook B.C.). The next action step for me is to find sales/comparable data for my market for the purpose of getting a better sense of what is selling and for what price retail houses are going for, along with comparables.

My question is for flippers/rehabbers in B.C., how are you getting your sales/comparable data (if anyone doesn't mind sharing). Maybe I'm missing something but my searches seem to be coming up with nothing useful. I would really appreciate any help.

Thank you!

Hey Zack ,Getting a quality realtor that has experience in flips or even rentals is going to be important. Dont go with a suburban family realtor its not what your looking for . Once you find a place of interest any realtor can give you comparables on what the house is worth comparable to houses in the same category. The reason to be selective with realtors for flips is they can give you a good idea of what the after renovation value will be. All of this being said , know the market better then your realtor . Wake up every day and check for houses, get setup on collaboration. Check the market throughout the day. Remember that when a realtor gives you comparables they are doing off there best judgement, nothing is 100 percent certainty. Good luck let me know any other questions
