Is there something like Section 8 (subsidized housing) in Ontario?

I've been looking at Rent-Geared-to-Income Subsidy (RGI) as a potential analog to Section 8 in the US.

Does anyone have any thoughts about RGI and whether it's worth being an RGI landlord?

In the US, for instance, one can charge high monthly rent for cheap Section 8 properties. Is this the case here, too?
