How to find qualified property management and maintenance staff?

Jasmine Spann
Posted

Due to being short staffed on the property management side and short staffed on the maintenance technician side due to covid are there any suggestions on finding and hiring new staff? For context we are property managers whose expanding and we need more office help with answering phones, filing paper work, etc.

Keep looking.  Frankly, it is all you can do.  Spend time everyday doing something to help you get the staff you need.  This is urgent for you and should be a priority.  I know day to day business and because you are short handed that means you are busier than busy but you need to set aside time each day.  The time, effort and perseverance you put into it will pay off.

Also for admin staff be open to staffing companies, people not in your area etc.  You will get there, just keep looking.
