NY Property Manager Requirements

Two months ago, I  began working as the sole property manager for a small company with 28 doors(2 in NJ, 26 in NY). It's been going great but I want to ensure that I'm properly educated and that we are doing everything by the book.

From what I've found:

I need to be sponsored by a Real Estate Broker

I need to obtain my NY Real Estate License

Ongoing PM education and certifications.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!
