Insurance and security requirements

Hello - I'm managing a short term rental property and my property insurance policy is requiring burglar alarm monitoring. In the past, the alarm has caused issues with renters accidentally setting it off, so we stopped monitoring. 

Does every insurance require burglar monitoring? And what are some ways you are managing it?
