Advice for Property Management and Maintenance Business

Hello- I recently left residential brokerage in Manhattan after 5 years to join to my Father's property management and maintenance business in CT. He started the company about 40 years ago and since then has been very successful without much tech or software. We are a small family shop with only 4 employees and a maintenance crew (6 guys). My question to you PMs or maintenance managers out there. Do you need the new software to be successful? I looked at Yardi Breeze and it was a fantastic software but we do mainly the management and maintenance not so much rent collection. Any advice?
