RedAwning vs. Evolve vs. Vacasa?

Chris McKenna
Posted

Hello. I have a long distance vacation rental that I have been using Vacasa for the last 5 years as they were the only game in town. Unfortunately at 30%. Now the option of Evolve & RedAwning are in the area at 10% and I was hoping for some advice. This property started out as more second home than investment when we lived in Maine..then we moved to Texas and its now more investment than second home due to the distance. I also now have been bit by the STR bug and am looking for a second property this month. Its in a small town with year round STR draw so volume is good but resources are limited. So... anyone have advice for this newbie on changing companies? Looks like biggest hurdle would be finding housekeeping and someone to respond to any maintenance issues unless I'm missing something. Thanks for your help.
